no, i don't think many people like it because it's a movie you have to either really like artistic visuals in movies to like, or you have to empathize with the characters. I empathized with it because my wife has all kinds of health problems, none of which are seriously bothering her right now, but they've been tough for her in the past. my own idealistic clash comes with the ascension themes the movie had, though they really didn't saturate the story line as much as it was a visual presentation of the theme.
